Melinda K. DeMarse, CPA joined Echelbarger, Himebaugh, Tamm & Co., P.C. (EHTC) in June 2007 as Director of Healthcare Services. Melinda has over 20 years of experience in public accounting. She started her career in Muskegon and spent the past 17 years working for a large local accounting firm in Grand Rapids, MI. She received her BSBA with a dual major in accounting and business administration from Aquinas College, cum laude in 1987.

Throughout her career, Melinda has specialized in providing tax and consulting services to physician groups and other professionals. Her tax expertise is in the area of professional service organizations, closely held businesses, and individuals. Melinda’s healthcare expertise includes working with groups on buy/sell agreements, general operations, accounts receivable analysis, compensation plans, benchmarking, and mergers and acquisitions.

Melinda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). She is also an active member of the Medical Group Manager’s Association (MGMA) and serves on the board of directors for Health Intervention Services. She's a past board member of the Michigan Medical Group Managers Association and has been active in and served on the boards of several other healthcare consulting organizations.
