David G. Echelbarger is a shareholder and the Director of EHTC Technology Solutions, the Technology Solutions Division of Echelbarger, Himebaugh, Tamm & Co., P.C. (EHTC). David first joined EHTC in 1987 as a tax intern. After graduating from Aquinas College in 1988 with a B.A. degree in Accounting, he worked in the Accounting and Auditing Department while developing the computer division of EHTC.

David has over 14 years of experience in technology consulting. He specializes in the development and implementation of automated accounting systems in the areas of distribution, manufacturing, construction, service, and nonprofit organizations. David’s expertise includes system design, personalized training, classroom training, and writing procedural manuals.

As the Director of EHTC Technology Solutions, David is the team leader for all support, consulting, implementation, and training services. David is responsible for the vision and direction of E-Group. As a member of the Firm’s Management Team, David has a significant role in the operations and direction of the Firm.

David is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, International Consulting Network, and Information Technology Alliance. He is currently on the board of trustees for a nonprofit organization and serves as the Cub Master and treasurer for the local Cub Scout Pack. He has served on the board of a large remodeling company, has been an advisor to the finance committee of a nonprofit organization, was involved in the start-up of a nonprofit organization, served as an advisory board member to a start up company in Helena, Montana and as the chairman of finance for his church.

David and EHTC have been recognized by Accounting Today, Accounting Technology, and Solomon Software for their contributions to the industry.
