Our Business Development ProcessYou complete a preliminary Qualifying Questionnaire to determine your business development potential. EHTC has sophisticated software tools that are designed to identify and quantify your profit improvement potential. You will only be considered for the process if your potential for improvement is significant.You attend an Initial Consultation: At the initial consultation with EHTC's business development specialists you will be presented with a summary of the improvement potential and you’ll see exactly what will be done and how it will be approached. You complete a Business Development Questionnaire: The Questionnaire gives you instant insights into the challenges you face and what needs to be done to deal positively with them. In addition, our specialists have a very detailed interpretive document and have been trained in how to identify your strategic and process improvement opportunities Participate in a Strategic Planning Session: At this planning session we will take you through a structured review of the strategic options for your business. You’ll really start to see how the process comes together and why it’s so important for you to systematize your business. Receive a Business Action Plan: We do not place much store in lengthy business plans. We will provide you with an action oriented plan that you can immediately relate to and which forms the basis for moving forward to the next stage of the assignment. A Customer Advisory Board is conducted: To really create a successful business you must know exactly what your customers want and consider to be frustrations when dealing with businesses in your industry. We will facilitate a customer advisory board using tested systems with selected customers which will answer these questions for you. A Team Member Advisory Board is conducted: Your employees play a vital role in how well your business meets customers’ expectations. We use a protocol for working with your people to develop a customer service plan that relates directly to the feedback obtained from the customer advisory board. A Business Process Audit will be conducted: A business is nothing more than a collection of people performing activities. How well these activities are done will determine the business outcomes. Most businesses have not systematized their processes, with the result being that outcomes are random. Improving business performance is fundamentally about improving key processes. We will use a system to analyze the processes that comprise your business and identify those that need to be re-designed. Your Key Business Processes will be re-designed where necessary and fully documented. We will use a systematic methodology to document every element of your business system. The result will be that you will have a fully documented business system that will make it easier to control the outcomes by defining precisely how each process is to be performed. The effect this will have on productivity and profitability is staggering. The impact it has on the value of your business is dramatic. Your financial plan will be developed and Key Performance Indicators will be defined. An outcome of the process documentation phase of the assignment will be a set of Key Performance Indicators that will form the basis of the Management Control Plan that we will set up for you. These KPIs will be used by you to keep track of your progress. They’ll tell you what is going on in the key areas of your business and will serve as "early warning" signals so that you can take corrective action as and when required. You will want us to play an on-going role here. You’ll need assistance in the establishment of planning targets and their related KPI targets. This will be reflected in a financial plan comprised of a Profit and Cash Flow Projection together with a projected Balance Sheet. We will utilize sophisticated software to help you monitor your progress and keep you focused on your planning targets. In addition, other matters such as your tax planning and statutory reporting requirements will also be addressed. |
