Several web sites offer directories of elder care facilities and services by state, county, and town.  Some offer brief but free one-on-one counseling for specific problems with elders, through e-mail or an electronic chat room.  Nearly all offer information on various legal and financial aspects of caring for elders, including estate planning and guidelines on what benefits are available through federal and state agencies.
