Shareholder/Director of Taxation
Robin M. Stoner is a Shareholder, Treasurer, and the Director of Taxation with Echelbarger, Himebaugh, Tamm & Co., P.C. (EHTC). She has worked in public accounting since 1985. Prior to that, she worked in the accounting department of a local manufacturer.
Throughout her career, she has specialized in the taxation of closely-held businesses and their owners. She has tax expertise in various industries including financial products and services, advertising, professional services, manufacturing, farming, construction, and nonprofit organizations. Her specialty is representing clients in controversies, examinations, collection matters, and appeals involving the Internal Revenue Service. Robin also has extensive "hands on" experience in the administration of qualified settlement funds.
Robin is a graduate of Davenport University and has a Master of Science in Taxation degree from Grand Valley State University. She is an active member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is also a member of the World Affairs Council of Western Michigan, and was recently a delegate leader for a People to People--Women in Accounting Delegation to South Africa. Robin serves on the board of directors for the Michigan Women's Tax Association. She is a past president of Zonta Club of Grand Rapids and served as the club's international delegate in Gothenburg, Sweden. She also volunteers her time teaching a Personal Finance Class at Grand Rapid’s Women’s Resource Center.
