Brandon Rupert - IT Administrator

Brandon Rupert joined EHTC (Echelbarger, Himebaugh, Tamm & Co., P.C.) as the IT Administrator in February 2021, a newly formed position to keep EHTC on the forefront of technology. Brandon joins the team with over 15 years of IT experience, including help desk support, server administration, repairing hardware, and company-wide strategic projects. While in the United State Marine Corps, Brandon served as Data Chief during deployment in the Philippines and oversaw the design, implementations, and tear down of global communication networks. Since then he spent much of his time at Crescent Bank & Trust, where he managed the help desk of over 1,200 tickets per month while overseeing the policies and procedures of the team and reporting KPIs for all support analysts.

At EHTC, Brandon is working to create an internal ticketing system as his goal is to take over end user support for all team members. He is working with local vendors to inventory all desktop and IT assets while implementing IT service management (ITSM) with a focus on Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). By documenting all processes, procedures, tasks, and checklists within EHTC, Brandon will be able to focus on strategy while delivering value within the firm and to clients. He is creating dashboards for internal use in PowerBI for workflow tracking and ensuring the firm is ahead on analytics for data and staying on the cutting edge of key performance indicators (KPIs). He is looking forward to using artificial intelligence (AI) to gain insight into the firm’s information and will allow technology to get us there.

When not in front of a computer, Brandon can be found spending time with his son, Leyland, doing a variety of things. Together, they enjoy cooking, watching and attending sporting events (Go Michigan!), and anything music related. Since moving from New Orleans, Brandon misses the festivals from his time in the south but is looking forward to visiting the Michigan breweries since moving to “Beer City, USA.”
