Meet Amanda!

International Tax Senior Associate

At EHTC, Amanda has carved out a niche as a dedicated international tax resource, contributing to large-scale client engagements and collaborating closely with senior staff, managers, and partners. She is committed to continuously expanding her technical capabilities and leadership within the firm.

Outside of work, Amanda is active in local volleyball leagues and improving her pickleball game. She and her husband enjoy spending time with friends, camping, hosting bonfires, and visiting family across Michigan. Amanda also loves being an aunt and cherishes time with her nephew. Originally from the Detroit area, she now calls West Michigan home and appreciates the welcoming culture and supportive environment at EHTC.

Amanda Hoggard is a senior in EHTC’s International Tax practice, where she specializes in supporting U.S. based entities with foreign operations. Her work includes preparing and reviewing international tax filings, assisting with foreign tax rules and strategies (GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, and foreign tax credit), and ensuring compliance with U.S. reporting requirements for multinational clients.

Amanda earned her undergraduate degree in Accounting from Madonna University and her master’s degree from Walsh College. She began her career at a small accounting firm, where she gained hands-on experience with individual and small business tax returns. Seeking broader exposure, she transitioned to one of the nation’s largest public accounting firms, where she spent six years developing her expertise in international tax.
