Dynamics 365 CRM Consultant

Are you passionate about sales, customer service and marketing?  Do you embrace technology and its role in enhancing customer relations and empowering sales and service organizations?  Velosio Grand Rapids, a software consulting practice at EHTC, is looking for a Dynamics 365 CRM Consultant to lead our expanding Dynamics 365 CRM practice. 

Velosio is an award-winning Microsoft Dynamics Master VAR, with a network of over 40 offices and 400 plus consultants.  Dynamics 365 CRM software is at the heart of emerging technologies in Microsoft Cloud, with exciting technologies such as AI, iOT, Business Intelligence and Social Media.  

As a lead Dynamics 365 CRM Consultant, you will use your technical skills and understanding of business process to interact with clients and help their organizations leverage Dynamics 365 CRM technology to achieve their goals.  You will have the opportunity to interact with clients about business process and be able to effectively demonstrate the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Cloud Solutions.  You will be responsible for helping clients re-engineer their existing processes and lead enterprise level projects in Dynamics 365 CRM and Cloud, leveraging internal resources and effectively managing projects from launch, to go live and training. 

As a Practice leader in our firm, you will be an evangelist for Dynamics 365 CRM and Cloud technologies, leveraging Velosio marketing content.  You will demonstrate your skills and knowledge of innovative Dynamics 365 CRM technology.  You will play an active role in following up on leads and assisting in the sales process to close opportunities through live demos and technology partners. 

Responsibilities:

  • Learn and understand the Microsoft Cloud Solutions and be able to show clients how this technology can impact their organization
  • Maintain and leverage a demo environment for client demonstrations and trainings
  • Create and manage budgets and timelines and manage resources, to ensure on-time, on-budget project
  • Develop training plans and train end users on Dynamics 365 CRM
  • Lead design and scoping sessions with business process owners
  • Participate in sales process, through lead generation, demo’s and estimating
  • Effectively use networking and social media tools to evangelize for Dynamics 365 CRM and Cloud solutions
  • Understand and communicate Microsoft Cloud vision for Dynamics 365 CRM and Office 365
  • Build and manage client relationships
  • Build and manage internal Velosio relationships to leverage expertise and deliver value throughout the Velosio network
  • Maintain Microsoft certifications and stay current on evolving product developments and ISV software solutions

Skills and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science
  • 3-5 plus years of Dynamics 365 CRM Solution Experience (Microsoft Dynamics or SalesForce preferred)
  • Solid understanding of service, sales and marketing business processes
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management of technology or business process consulting, system design or software implementation
  • Skilled at developing technical specs and designs through leading requirements gathering sessions
  • Previous consulting experience a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Active social networking skills
  • Familiarity of relational database concepts
  • Experience with enterprise implementation and roll out experience including large data migration
  • Experience with data integration tools
  • Understanding of the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem of partners and ISV providers

Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant

In June of this year, Microsoft closed out its best year ever, achieving record growth and profits.  The technology leading the way in this growth, is the Microsoft Cloud.  It is a great time to be a Microsoft Dynamics Partner.

Velosio Grand Rapids, seeks to hire a full time software consultant, experienced in working with Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions, and interested in becoming an expert in Dynamics 365 Business Central.  Dynamics 365 Business Central is the new Cloud ERP solution by Microsoft.  This new solution leverages cutting edge technology to help organizations manage financials and business operations such as distribution, projects, and manufacturing.    

As a Dynamics 365 Consultant you will be in a client facing role with a primary responsibility of understanding and identifying current and future needs in a variety of business environments.  A solid understanding of business process in finance, budgeting, inventory, distribution, and manufacturing is required.  A strong understanding of accounting best practices and business acumen are essential.  An understanding of project/cost based accounting is a plus.

As a Dynamics 365 Consultant, your expertise and knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics product features and ancillary add on software options will be critical for identifying process improvement opportunities for our clients.  EHTC consultants are hands on and interact over the phone and in person to implement and support software solutions that improve business processes.  Your expertise will be needed in planning, design, implementation, and training and on-going support of Microsoft Dynamics ERP solutions.

Responsibilities:

Become an expert in Dynamics 365 Business Central and be able to assist in the sales process through defining customer requirements and demonstrating how Business Central can meet those requirements. 

As a Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant, you will define, plan and implement the solution for new and existing customers.  Once implemented, you will assist in on going support and enhancements. 

Resolve customer's functional support issues related to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 application in the modules of Financial Core, Distribution, Manufacturing, Project, and Reporting.

A successful consultant will also help with:

  • Identifying applications and outside products to meet business requirements
  • Remote and on-site training on core Dynamics 365 modules
  • Scoping and budgeting of implementation projects
  • Project management
  • Producing quality deliverables and completing assigned tasks within the given budget
  • Managing client relationships for ongoing

A successful consultant will provide value and expertise to meet billable performance objectives. 

Requirements:

  • Must be CURRENTLY AUTHORIZED TO WORK in the US
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher, in Accounting, MIS or related field.
  • An understanding of business process and the ability to define and document various business processes in finance (GL, AP, AR, PO), financial close, order fulfillment, inventory management, payroll and cash management
  • 3 years’ experience in a Microsoft Dynamics ERP support/consultant role
  • Experience with Dynamics GP or SL modules: Financial Core & Distribution
  • Ability to learn new products and demonstrate the value of Add On software solutions
  • Good understanding of server and workstation hardware desired
  • Experience creating reports using Crystal Reports, SSRS, FRx or Management Reporter
  • Great communication, people management and problem solving skills
  • High degree of customer service acumen required
  • Ability to travel to local clients 10% of the time or less
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment running multiple tasks under tight deadlines
