Meet Chris!

CPA | Client Accounting Services Director

As Client Accounting Services Director at EHTC, Chris Gallagher leads a team dedicated to helping clients build strong financial processes and navigate complex business decisions. Whether he’s supporting a startup with its first accounting system or advising an established company through an executive transition, Chris brings a high level of insight and efficiency to every engagement. His work spans monthly accounting, ERP integrations, internal control reviews, and strategic planning, all aimed at helping businesses gain clarity and confidence in their data and financials.

Chris earned his accounting degree from Grand Valley State University and began his career in public accounting at BDO, where he rose to the level of Assurance Manager. After six years of audit experience, he transitioned into private industry, serving as Controller and later VP of Finance at Cole’s Quality Foods. Most recently, he held the role of Director of Accounting at Roskam Foods, another large food manufacturer based in West Michigan.

Now a key player in the EHTC Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice, Chris oversees both recurring transactional services and high-touch advisory engagements. His areas of expertise include financial statement analysis, ERP implementation, risk assessments, and financial planning and analysis. Chris is particularly passionate about expanding CAS’ value proposition to include relationship-driven advisory services in an increasingly challenging and competitive business landscape.

Outside of work, Chris is deeply family oriented. He and his wife are raising three daughters and spend much of their time supporting them in their growth and after school activities. His family enjoys camping, bike rides, swimming, and exploring the beaches of Lake Michigan.
