Meet Jayden!
Tax Associate
Jayden Kolekamp, Tax Associate, supports the preparation of individual and business tax returns, state filings, and fixed asset work. After completing a busy season internship with EHTC and graduating from Grand Valley State University, Jayden transitioned to full-time and now contributes to more complex business returns while serving as a resource to incoming interns.
Since becoming a Tax Associate, Jayden has embraced new responsibilities, including attending client meetings and navigating his first international return. He appreciates the communication and trust that come with being a full-fledged team member and enjoys mentoring today’s interns, having been in their shoes.
Individual tax preparation, business return analysis, and collaborating well with others are Jayden’s main areas of focus as a member of the EHTC team. He also has his sights set on the CPA certification and is preparing for its rigorous exam process.
Jayden is a first-generation college graduate from Rockford, MI, with a background in manual labor jobs, including landscaping, house framing, and factory work. His perspective and strong work ethic stem from those experiences and a close-knit family. Outside of work, Jayden enjoys fishing, hiking, and playing pickleball with friends and family. He’s known for his easygoing nature and always strives to find the silver lining in any situation.
