West Michigan CPA and Advisory Firm Expands Services to Detroit
BIRMINGHAM, Mich.: EHTC is proud to announce today the expansion of our comprehensive services to the Detroit region.
Ross Connolly, Transaction Advisory Services Senior Manager, will lead the effort in southeastern Michigan. Before joining EHTC, he gained experience at two leading national advisory firms in Detroit and New York. Now, he works with EHTC Partner Ryan McCaslin to guide clients through complex transactions across the middle market.
"I grew up not far from Birmingham and understand the business community here," said Connolly. "EHTC’s experienced team already provides advisory services nationwide, and we're excited about increasing our presence in Detroit."
EHTC’s Detroit practice brings deep expertise throughout the deal lifecycle, beginning with the Transaction Advisory Services team’s specialization in buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence, as well as working with Investment Banks and brokers to prepare Quality of Earnings reports prior to going to market.
The team also offers a wealth of experience in tax due diligence, transaction structuring, and purchase price allocations, serving both buyers and sellers in maximizing tax benefits and minimizing tax burden. EHTC’s Valuation Services further complement the firm’s transaction work with business valuations for financial reporting, including intangible asset valuation under ASC 805.
With experience across hundreds of transactions, the team works closely with private equity groups, investment banks, and business owners across manufacturing, distribution, construction, retail, business services, consumer services, and SaaS industries.
"We've built a strong network across the state," said McCaslin, who has over 20 years of experience servicing deals from $2 million to $500 million in enterprise value. "Establishing a formal presence in Detroit allows us to serve the region with the same level of accessibility, responsiveness, and expertise our West Michigan clients have come to expect. The main draw for me in joining EHTC in 2023 was the ability to service large national private equity groups and investment banks while maintaining the flexibility to support smaller local transactions as well."
EHTC’s Detroit team will hold appointments at 135 N Old Woodward Ave., Suite 200, Birmingham, MI 48009.
