Community Engagement
At EHTC, Passion for Living is a core value that we extend beyond the office to the communities we serve. We believe in helping our clients, team members, and neighbors achieve their full potential, and we're committed to making a meaningful impact through charitable giving, volunteerism, and local engagement.
From our annual Chipping for Charity golf outing to sponsorships and community partnerships, EHTC is proud to be an active member of the West Michigan business community.
Giving back to the West Michigan community we call home.
Chipping for Charity
Since its inception, EHTC's annual Chipping for Charity golf outing has invested nearly $400,000 into West Michigan nonprofit organizations. Each year, we carefully select a local nonprofit as the recipient of our golf outing proceeds, supporting organizations that make a meaningful impact in our community.
Local Engagement
EHTC is actively involved in the Ada business community and the broader West Michigan region. Our team members participate in local business associations, professional networks, and community events, building relationships and contributing to the neighborhood.
As a member of the Ada Business Association and Forest Hills Business Association, EHTC is committed to supporting local businesses and fostering a thriving business community in The Village. Our new office at 7500 Fulton St. reflects our investment in Ada and our dedication to being an active, contributing member of the community.
EHTC's team members are additionally involved in business community organizations including:
Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Western Michigan
West Michigan Exit Planning Association
Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce
Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA)
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA)
Economic Club of Grand Rapids
Volunteerism
Beyond financial contributions, EHTC prioritizes hands-on volunteerism. Our team participates in Day of Caring projects, Adopt-A-Family during the holiday season, and other volunteer opportunities that allow us to directly serve our neighbors and make a tangible difference.
Sponsorships
EHTC supports local organizations, events, and causes that align with our values and mission. From youth sports teams to nonprofit fundraisers, we're committed to investing in the people and organizations that make West Michigan a great place to live and work.
