Chipping for Charity Golf Outing

Since 1987, we have hosted an annual charity golf outing, Chipping for Charity. This event provides an opportunity to help our community by donating to a worthy, local non-profit organization while enjoying a day of golf, fun and camaraderie. Participants may golf, attend the reception, sponsor a sign at one of the tees, donate to the charity, or donate door prizes. Contact our office to get involved!

EHTC has chosen the Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids Youth Commonwealth as the 2021 recipient. With the cancellation of the event in 2020 due to COVID-19, EHTC is excited to partner with this organization for this year's outing on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. This organization provides extra-curricular activities like sports and art to a variety of children in our community. By leveraging their long-standing partnership with the Grand Rapids Police Department, the Boys and Girls Club builds bridges between the community and law enforcement, fostering better relations, cultivating future community leaders, and establishing safer and stronger communities.

Funds from the 2021 Chipping for Charity Golf Outing will enable Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids to continue to work collaboratively with the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services in their Triple Play Program. This program increases the following among Club members:

  • Their knowledge of healthy habits, good nutrition and physical fitness;
  • Their number of hours per day participating in physical activities;
  • The ability to interactive positively with all youth and engage in healthy relationships; and
  • Increased participation at the Club, including recruiting new members.

Please join the community on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 to help raise money for this organization. Sponsorship and registration information can be found here.
