Who We Are

EHTC is a full-service, West Michigan-based CPA firm founded in 1977. We’re proud that we’ve maintained a small-firm vibe, even amid tremendous growth over the years. We work hard, but we believe in balance and flexibility to allow our staff to achieve personal as well as professional goals. Our philosophy of helping both our clients and team members succeed and reach their full potential has been our secret sauce—and we credit our longevity in the industry to this approach.

“EHTC provides an office environment I genuinely look forward to being in every day,” says James H. They enable and encourage the interests and passions I have outside the firm as well.”

What We Do

Our offerings include tax, accounting, audit, valuation, technology solutions, personal planning, and management advisory services. We’re fortunate to have the resources and connections that are typically reserved for larger firms. We tap into those, when needed,  while also applying an internal team approach to developing strategies and solutions to give our clients a competitive advantage.

We do this all under the guidance of our core values of: Willingness to Grow, Going Above and Beyond, Passion for Living, and Teamwork. Learn more about these culturally ingrained principles here.

“The core value that most resonates with me is ‘Willingness to Grow’,” says Anna F. “Because, as long as you are willing to grow you will always have an opportunity in this field—and especially at EHTC.”

Who We Serve

We’re selective about the clients we work with, and seek to serve those who desire a long-term advisory relationship, are trustworthy, and share our values. These individuals and closely held businesses are, by nature, entrepreneurial and collaborative—just as we are! Our client base is primarily mid-market businesses, family-owned businesses, healthcare providers, and manufacturing, distribution, and professional services.

Why Work With Us

Whether you’re just starting out, in an entry level position or with an internship, or you’re highly skilled, you’ll feel at home at EHTC—and be an integral part of our success! We’ll prioritize your overall development, and empower you to expand your knowledge and meet your career goals. We’ll invest in you, because we understand that our people are essential. Hands-on training, continuing education support, and career development opportunities are a few of the benefits we offer. You’ll also have the opportunity to work alongside technical experts at all levels.

And, yes, we do like to have a good time—and we genuinely enjoy each other’s company. So, expect to take part in special events, celebrations, potlucks, outings, happy hours, summer sports, and more—both in and outside the office.

“The culture is what keeps me at EHTC,” says Ben H. “My coworkers are great and management is transparent and open minded. I know EHTC is a place where I can grow professionally and have fun doing it.”
